Coveris has been revealed as a finalist in the European Carton Excellence Awards 2018. Europe’s most prestigious awards for cartonboard packaging, the European Carton Excellence Awards were established over 20 years ago and showcase innovative, creative and sustainable use of cartonboard from across the continent.


Coveris’ shortlisted entry is a range of colourful and enticing six truffle packs for Booja-Booja’s The Rainbow Collection. Booja-Booja is an award winning manufacturer of luxury chocolate truffles and ice cream based in Norfolk, England. Created to provide an indulgent consumer experience, Booja-Booja packaging features detailed dual-face print, collectable Boojagrams, foil embellishment and a functional reclose option. The packaging has been re-designed and developed to maintain top-tier presentation and perception using a less complex structure with fewer materials resulting in improved efficiencies and environmental performance during production.


Coveris has been shortlisted in the Confectionery category as well as being one of 36 finalists from a range of categories in with the chance of winning the top accolade, Carton of the Year. The 36 finalists were selected by an independent, international jury representing a broad range of expertise in the supply chain. Additionally, there is also a Public Award where people are invited to vote for their favourite carton from all 36 finalists. Vote for your favourite here.
