The shortlisted products in this year’s FlexoTech International Print and Innovation Awards have been announced and Coveris has been revealed as a finalist in the UV Flexo, paper and board category. Demonstrating high performance in flexographic print, Coveris is the reigning award winner of this category from the FlexoTech Awards last year.


The FlexoTech International Print and Innovation Awards attract high quality entries from the flexographic industry with an international panel of judges assessing print categories based on reproduction, degree of difficulty and print quality.


Coveris’ shortlisted entry is a self-adhesive label printed at its site in Cramlington, Northumberland, for Tesco Chargrilled Artichokes with Garlic and Herbs. The label was selected by Coveris thanks to the exceptional image quality produced by new screening technology.


The winners will be announced at the FlexoTech Awards ceremony taking place on Wednesday 10th October at the Royal Lancaster London. A full list of FlexoTech Award categories and nominated entries can be viewed here.


This announcement follows the exciting news Coveris is a finalist in the European Carton Excellence Awards 2018. Coveris is in with the chance of winning top accolade, Carton of the Year, as well as featuring in the Confectionery category shortlist. Coveris’ shortlisted entry is a range of colourful and enticing six truffle packs for Booja-Booja’s The Rainbow Collection.
