The Challenge

Known for distinctive, unique branding and design, the craft beer market continues to grow in popularity and sales. With the need to create a point of difference for a beer launch, Coveris was asked to create a label with the touch and feel of a rough old hand, replicative of an unusual product name: ‘Old Hands’. 

The Solution

The bright metallic look and rough, textured feel of the label is thanks to clever print, substrate and varnish innovation and selection. Digital print on a silver substrate and subsequent reticulating varnish combine to produce a sensory experience.
