We are currently recruiting for a H&S Administrator to join the Health and Safety team based at our Boston site on a fixed term 18-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career and join a progressive business.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Support the H&S team and prioritise the workload to ensure that statutory, legal, training and other related documentation is kept up to date and to aid in the continual improvement of Health & Safety standards across the group
Achieve KPIs set by the H&S Manager
Maintain accident data, the online H&S System, H&S related actions, risk assessment system and statutory requirements
Provide administration support in investigations
Maintain Contractor Information
Control and development of the online safety system
Provide the H&S Manager with regular reports on compliance including gap analysis
Conduct area safety inspections as and when required and complete paperwork
Report all H&S issues in keeping with company procedure
Have an interest and understanding of health & safety requirements and issues in the workplace
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, have a good knowledge of Excel and an openness to learning new IT skills
Have strong organisational, grammar and communication skills at all levels
Be able to work in a confidential manner
Be detailed, thorough, and accurate
Be able to prioritise and manage your own workload and tasks
Be pleasant, professional and proficient
Organised and calm under pressure
Friendly, approachable and flexible – a team player
Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates “can do” attitude
Some travel to other sites within the group will be required
A good level of education with high standards of written English
